She was the only child of Johan Ingolf Vestvik, a tailor, born 1882 in Skjorn and died three months after mother was born. Johan was a son of Mathias Pettersen and Ingeborg Anna Gabrielsdatter from Bjugns or Stjorn. Grandmother Augusta Kristine Hopen, Vestvik and mother came to Minnesota in 1920. Grandmother married a Mr. Finsvik. I had a relative named Westvik or Westvig who lived in Seattle, I believe he was a brother of Johan Ingolf Vestvik. I know very little else about my grandfather, grew up only knowing of step grandfather Finsvik. Would love to know your connection. Could we be related. Bonnie Jeanne Brooks Howard
