I have a Mary Ann Bisset Johnston who married a Ewen Macdonald of Uig. They were married in 1865. Mary Ann is the sister of my great grandmother. I have Mary Ann and Ewen Macdonald living in Aberdeen in 1881 next door to Robert and Jessie Cran who are my great grandparents. I don't know who Ewen Macdonald's parents were but it would be reasonable that there may be a connection.
