I seek a little advice, regarding the above. I have had a little success recently between the IGI and Scotlands People. I believe that my g grandmother (Rebecca Macbeth or MacBeath, was born in Inverness in 1858, even though her marriage certificate would lead one to believe that she was born in 1865, anyway the Rebecca that I believe is the one, I have found in the 1861 and 1871 censii of Inverness with her parents, in service in London for the 1891(with a probable birthdate of 1862 and with my g grandfather, and my grandmother etcetera for the 1901. But the 1881 is causing me problems, I cannot find Rebecca on either the Ancestry or LDS versions of the England and Wales 1881 census, And on Scotlands People they want the address in the 1881, Rebeccas` parents lived at the same address at least from 1871 to 1897 when her father died and her mother died there in 1907 but nothing comes up for 1881, the address in question is 4 Frasers Close, Muirtown Road Inverness. Whilst I`m at it is Inverness-shire correct, or is there no hyphen. or what. Regards Joe Austen in OZ (Ex Pom)
