    3. Hi Jo Here you go, this is 1881 census for 4 frasers close but no Rebecca have checked all variant spellings and does not appear anywhere in Eng-Scot-Wales 1881unless Rebecca was a second name. Unless McBEATH WAS HER MARRIED NAME you did not say if she was married to John. If so it looks like Bella Dwelling: 4 Frasers Close Census Place: Inverness, Inverness, Scotland Source: FHL Film 0203421 GRO Ref Volume 098 EnumDist 13 Page 15 Marr Age Sex Birthplace John MACBEATH M 26 M Inverness, Inverness, Scotland Rel: Head Occ: House Painter Bella MACBEATH M 23 F Gairloch, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland Rel: Wife Flora MACBEATH 3 F Inverness, Inverness, Scotland Rel: Daur Catherine MACBEATH 8 m F Inverness, Inverness, Scotland Rel: Daur This is only Rebecca McBEATH BORN 1865 + - 5 Dwelling: Argyle Street Watson Land Census Place: Campsie, Stirling, Scotland Source: FHL Film 0203537 GRO Ref Volume 475 EnumDist 5 Page 5 Marr Age Sex Birthplace Daniel MC BETH W 50 M Ireland Rel: Head Occ: Chemical Labourer Worker Mary MC BETH U 20 F Ireland Rel: Daur Occ: Printfield Worker ((Factory)) Catherine MC BETH U 20 F Ireland Rel: Daur Occ: Printfield Worker ((Factory)) Rebecca MC BETH U 16 F Ireland Rel: Daur Occ: Printfield Worker ((Factory)) Martha MC BETH 11 F Campsie, Stirling, Scotland Rel: Daur Occ: Scholar Know how you feel Have this challenge myself where my g grandmother was a Stevens, married a Gann and had 4 children , he died she married another Stevens and had 5 children Took me three years to track my grandmother Florence Gann down with her 9 siblings as mother called them all Stevens whilst they lived with her and most by second names . I had been searching For Florence Gann and she was Flora Stevens but to top it 1901 census had wrong transcription as is often the case . She was Flora Strevens Good luck Heather
