Hi Irene, my gg grandmother Mary McDonald married Alexander McPherson in 1857 in an unnamed place in Victoria, and had children Catherine, Janet and Allan. I know absolutely nothing of Mary or Alexander or their families as there are no records of where they came from... but your Mary fits, as do the names of her children! They lived for a period in Duneed, Victoria (near Geelong), and also Mt Pollock near Winchelsea, Victoria. Do you have any more details of Mary? Could she be the same?
