For what it`s worth, I have a cousin in England whose wife is named Christiana, and she was born and raised in a quite wealthy family in Rome Italy, it is not a new name, I have seen it quite often,in research in England for the 18th and 19th centuries. My great-grandmother was listed in 1843 in Methven, Perthshire, on her marriage as Christiana Menzies. Maybe the minister had Spanish blood, as she certainly didn't! The rest of the time she was Christian or Christina. Sheila in Missouri
