Unfortunately,I think you are going to be very,very lucky to trace any of the McLeods further back than with the information off John and Chirsty's Death Certificates.There might be some info to be picked up from the relevant Estate Papers (assuming they still exist - the Clan Donald Museum in Sleat might be of use),but they certainly won't be available on the Internet.I suspect you have hit the brick wall that we all encounter!
