Looking back at my query, I realize I should have worded it better, but my Great-Great Grandfather was Duncan McKay and his brother was Neil McKay, They also had a sister Mary who married Alexander McKinnon from Muck. Between these three, Mary, Duncan and Neil, they had thirty children, although Neil had the advantage of being married twice. Their Mother was Ann McMillan, also from Muck, b. 1788, and their father was John McKay, unfortunately all I know about him is his name, but I believe he was from the Isle of Muck as well. The McLean's I mentioned were other families that arrived at the same time from the same place, but have so far found no direct connection, family wise.
