Dear List, While extracting 1850 info for a shipping index, I came upon these entries that must be places (towns, etc.) as they don't resemble any of the Parish names: Muswelburg or Muswelbury (surname Baird) Trone or Irone (surname Ross) Dorss (surname Patterson) If you can tell me where they are (and how to spell them), I will be most grateful. Hi Peter I suggest Dorss may well be Dores at the head of Loch Ness, not far west of Inverness.
