My g.g. grandmother was Mary Mcfadyen who was born in 1821 in Craignish Argyll - her parents were John McFadyen and Mary Gray. She married a William Munro of Skye and went on to have at least 13 children - including 3 sets of twins. I haven't been able to find any of Mary's siblings but she is likely to have had many. McFadyen is not that common a name. Hope this is of some interest. Morven
