Researching the families of Duncan McKay of Balguneerie farm, North Kessock, married Catherine Matheson c 1809. Information has been gathered from the head stones at Killearnan Church Yard. Descendants still farm at Balguneerie. I am hoping to make contact with Farquhar Mitchell who I believe has done extensive research on this tree. I am descended from their grand daughter Catherine McKay who married Angus McBean in 1864. My cousins & I are organising a family reunion of thses clans in Inverness in July 2007.
