I installed a search engine for the 1841 Fort William census - but I don't know if it will be much help as there are just so many names which are the same -(out of the over 13,700 entries the spider only found 1400 words) and it only brings up the page in which their on.....so you'll still have to search the whole page to find all the entries......but it may be helpful if your searching for a specific place or occupation ??? I've been checking the searches that your making on the Scotland Glens site and feel that possibly some instruction is needed....if you enter more than one name ie: Donald MacDonald - the search engine will pick each name and give you all the Donald's as well as all the MacDonald's - so my best advise is to just use one name or word at a time for your search......yet again as I said before it's probably better for this site to just take one page at a time....that is unless your looking for an unusual name or place....
