Chris, Have you tried to get the death certificate. This should show where she was born, depending on who furnished the information and also her age. Is there a burial record or notice in the newspaper? There should be some record of her entering Australia, even though she did not emmigrate. Do you know the ship she came on? The Australian Archives should have some record of entry or of applying to stay or for Australian citizenship? What makes you think she was born in London? Some many questions???
