Someone named Elizabeth (presumably in Scotland) sent me an excerpt from the ship's log or journal regarding the voyage of the Sarah. It starts off mentioning something like"...it was an exciting day for Fort William...." and then goes into the details of the voyage. Anyways, that is where we got that the ship departed from Fort William. I am at work right now and the email is stored on my computer at home, plus I had printed it out so that is in my McLean binder at home as well. Elizabeth is one of the first posters who had responded to me when I subscribed to this list, had said she was going to look up some info for us, but we have not heard back. A lot of us get off track every once in a while. I'm sure we'll hear from her soon. She told us what book that information came out of, and we went to our local library to try and order it but they can't get it. So my wife is going to try the book store. Thanks, Rob McLean
