Re ANGUS MCKILLOP, a native of Kilmomivaig so I have no knowledge of his ancestors, my research being largely restricted to Laggan parish. He married MARGARET LOWE at St Kenneth's Chapel in Laggan 13/6/1872. MARGARET was born to WILLIAM LOW and CATHERINE MCDONALD in Laggan, the baptism registered on 23/7/1844. I had made the assumption that this birth may have been out of wedlock as, William's residence was given as the parish of Bendochy, and Catherine's as Breakachy (also no sign of William in 1851, when Catherine and Margaret are with the maternal family). I think that Catherine was the daughter of Donald McDonald and Margaret McKenzie. Have more detail if you wish, please advise if you are interested.
