Dear Listers, I have recently established that my husband's MORRISON ancestors arrived in South Australia 2.12.1855 on the ROYAL ALBERT. I am curious, on the HIES site the family is listed as MACKINNON, and on the list supplied by William "Bill" Clarke their name is MORRISON. Is this a typo, or something that I am obviously unfamiliar with? My husband is descended from Norman MORRISON, son of Kenneth MORRISON and Mary nee McPHEE. Norman MORRISON (registered as MORISON on the Marriage 26.2.1879 res of Mr Midwinter, nr Baldina, South Australia.) m Mary Ann MIDWINTER, dau of William MIDWINTER. Thank you for your help.
