This is the date his only serviving son gave me (my uncle). But you know he could be wrong. Maybe Granddad told a little fib so he would appear older than he was in order to immigrate to Canada. He also told me his Dad was from Inverness so again I just assumed he knew. Possibly his father had misreprested the fact for some reason. I sure appeciate your help.
