Hi Steve/Paula I found the applications and register for poor relief was very helpful with my poor in Elgin. Alas the Inverness one is kept in Inverness and I don't think it is indexed, but may be wrong,requires booking ( it is kept in a different building from the reference section, where it is avaiable to view!)
