    3. Hi Steve/Paula I found the applications and register for poor relief was very helpful with my poor in Elgin. Alas the Inverness one is kept in Inverness and I don't think it is indexed, but may be wrong,requires booking ( it is kept in a different building from the reference section, where it is avaiable to view!) If anyone is able to do look ups I would be very greatful and always hopeful, hint hint. William Fraser married to Isabella Matheson. Children c 1820 to 1890 Inverness/Boleskine/Dores. Shepherd/labourer. Children Catherine, Ann, William, Alexander, Roderick, John. See original posting. and William Fraser married Mary McDonald ( McDonell) Shepherd , Boleskine/Dores c 1780 to 1850. Children Thomas, John, Christy, Catherine, Margaret, Hugh, Alexander,Donald , William , Duncan, Mary, Thomas.
