My father was a crew member on USS Duffey during WW I. The Duffy was an oil tanker in the Mine Force. He was based at Inverness or a port close to it. He enjoyed Scotland very much and was proud he had some Scots in his ancestry. Did Scotland/UK keep any records on U.S. ships? If so, where could I find them? Any information is appreciated.
