William Fraser ( bc 1815- 1824 Invernesshire) married to Isabella Matheson ( bc 1815 Rosshire.) 1 st July 1842 William Fraser, labourer, Green of Muirton married Isabella Matheson, Merkinch ? both living in Inverness. 1851 census This may be the family in 1851. Dwelling OldTown , Dores, William Fraser Head 54, Mar , Shepherd.Born Boleskine, Invernesshire.( bc 1817) Isabella Fraser, Wife ,56, Mar, Born Contin, Rosshire.( bc 1815) Roderick Fraser, Son, 17, UM Shepherd's son Unemployed. Born Inverness Invernesshire. ( bc 1854) 1881 Census Census Place Dores, Inverness, Scotland William is dwelling at Whitefield Cottage Dores- William Fraser M 65 M Head, pauper, formerly shepherd , born Boleskine, Inverness.( bc 1816) Isabella Fraser M 68 F Wife Born Contin, Ross and Cromarty.( bc 1813) No children living with them 1883 William Fraser ,Shepherd on wife's death living at Whitefield Cottage, Dores, Inverness. Cannot find on the 1891 census William Fraser died between Feb 1883 and May 1896 William Fraser may have died 30 May 1889 in a house occupied by lawyer John Chisholm, in Crown Street Inverness. Widower but doesn't say of whom, of no fixed address. Aged 70 bc 1819. Any help would be much appreciated. Karen Donald
