If it is the Scottish Inverness-shire, there is in the Badenoch District the Parish of Abernethy and Kincardine. It lies east of Aviemore and take in some of the Cairngorm Mountains. Can you tell me the connection between the place Abernethy and the family Abernethy?? If I were looking for Abernethys' I would try Aberdeen-shire or perhaps Shetland. George -- George D.
