We're researching our McLean family, who arrived in Nova Scotia from Kilmorack in 1801 on the ship "The Sarah". We don't know anything about their history in Scotland and would like to find out more. Here's what it says on the passenger list: William MacLean, farmer; Margaret MacLean, spinster Don McLean, Laborer; Mary McLean, spinster Kath. McLean John McLean (10) William McLean (8) These are the only McLeans listed, and there were lots of Williams, Donalds, and Johns in our family tree. The 8 year old boy, William, was my great great great grandfather. We don't know if Donald was his father or William. We've tracked the family to the boat, but now would like to proceed and find out which parish they were from exactly and any historical info. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks, Rob McLean
