Hi Listers, I am in need of a couple of answers please. I have just received my ggg grandmother Mary BURGESS(nee GRANT) death cert. which gives my gggg grandparents as: Anne GRANT, domestic servant, Reputed father, Charles Duncan GRANT, Chelsea pensioner. Mary was illegitimate. 1. How soon after a birth was the lassie hauled before the Kirk. 2. If Charles was a Chelsea pensioner, how do I find out what regiment he was with.
