Have you tried the Ellis Island Website? http://www.wallofhonor.com/discover_f.asp Just type in the family name you are interested in and those they have there on the Wall of Honour will come up and it also states their origin. Regards Heather
I will be visiting New York next week and was considering going to Ellis Island for a day. I'm wondering if anyone on this list has been there and found it a unique experience for a family historian ? Are there any records available for Scots that arrived at Ellis Island ? Is there anything I should look into in advance ? I do not know if any of my family emigrated to the US but I would like to browse any records that might be available just in case. Thanks, Jenn __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Messenger - Talk while you surf! It's FREE. http://im.yahoo.com/
