    3. This is a long shot, but I have Morrison, spelt as Morison, back a bit and quite close to Edinburgh - Christian Morison, who married Andrew Stark in Dalmeny in 1745. She may have been the daughter of Robert Morison and Jean Hasting, born in 1723 in Kilrkliston (West Lothian). Jenny On 3 Nov 2006, at 02:27, Trena wrote: > I'd be interested as well. 3. I also have MORRISONs in Edinburgh. My g-g-g grandfather, Archibald (born 1823) married Susan JACKSON in 1854 in Birmingham His father Thomas (born 1792) married Janet DICK in Edinburgh, 1820 - they had eight children, I have the details if anyone thinks there may be a connection. Thomas's father was another Archibald, I don't have his birth date yet, but he married Margaret ANDERSON in 1782, Edinburgh. So far, I have found three of their children. Most of the marriages and baptisms took place at St Cuthberts.
