Dear all, I am attempting to locate further information on the foundry of Tennant's of Edinburgh c. 1865, and I am attempting to locate historical documents ie. engineering drawings etc, on one of their steam engines. The steam engine was employed in Australian gold mines, c. 1870, and all I have to go on is the following information: "engine, by Tennant, of Edinburgh, is of 45 horse power, with all the latest improvements, including expansion gear, capable of being reduced to any possible grade." I know its a bit of a long shot, however perhaps you know of someone who could help with my enquiry please?
