Hi John, I have only just joined the list so do not know what dates your CDs cover. Aeneas Campbell, born in Dornoch, Sutherland in 1837, died in Benin 1863, aged 24. I have found out that the British bombed Porto Novo in 1863 and am wondering if Aeneas was a naval man as this seems quite a coincidence. Would your CDs cover this? His death is commemorated on his parents' gravestone and that is all I know about him. Would be grateful if you can help with my quest.
