2. June Duncan
    3. Hi sandra remember me. I found your Cunningham on the 1841 census. On the Canongate burial records there is a Charles Sheppard age 26 In 65yh regiment at the Castle who died of sore throat in 1824 and I assume his brother samuel Sheppard also in 65th regiment died 1824 of fever. As Sheppard is such an unusual name I wonder if they might be brothers of Cunningham senior? probably a long shot but might be worth having a look. The 1851 census is now online now Scotlandspeople. Is cunningham junior there? if I come acroos anything I'll be in touch

June

> Date: Mon, 29 Jan 2007 07:35:56 -0600> From: [email protected]> To: [email protected]; [email protected]> Subject: [SCT-EDINBURGH] "seaman" help, please!> > Were there any age requirements for a young man to "run off" and become > a seaman?> > My gg-grandfather (Cunningham Sheppard) was born in Edinburgh 14 April > 1833. 3. Hi, June! Yes, I definately remember you! (I still have all the emails.) Scotlandspeople is going to own my house if I don't stay off there! I have everything I can find relating to these people. Now, you've given me a couple more names to look in to. Sandy
