Hi All, I am back trying to fill in these spaces again. Can anyone explain how someone born and raised in the poorhouse would not show up on the 1901 Census. I have his birth cert. Dennis Wright b. 1900 Feb 5th Craiglockhart Poorhouse, parish of Colinton. His brother Thomas was born 1898 and was also raised there. His mother Margaret was a laundress at that location. How come none of them are on the census? Help please, Terri. USA
