I an looking for descendents of the family of John GUNN and Helen ( Nellie) DUNN who were married in Edinburgh in 1883. John was a spirit merchant who was living at Murrayfield House with his family on the 1901 census.His wife was not shown. His children were Jane, Helen (Nellie),George,Elizabeth, David,William,John, Hamish and Jessie. Some of these names appear to be pet names for the children. John had a brother James and their mother was Helen McLEOD from Marrel, Strath Kildonan. On the 1881 census John was 28 years and a sherriff officer and James was 26 and a butler.Both were born at Latheron in Caithness. Also, would Murrayfield House have been owned by the family in 1901?
