Dear Listmembers, Some of my family, William AITKEN (born about 1833, died 17 Nov 1908, Carnwath) and his wife, Mary BLAIR (born 10 Mar 1838, died 14 Sep 1905, Carnwath). As they were not buried in Carnwath Cemetery I feel they may have been buried in Edinburgh. In the 1901 census they were living at 1 Sciennes Road, Newington, Edinburgh, and their youngest daughter Mary Blair AITKEN died on 4 Nov 1902 at 25 Bruntsfield Avenue, Edinburgh. The nearest cemetery to these addresses is the Grange Cemetery. If anyone on the List has access to relevant Monumental Inscriptions I would be grateful for details. Thankyou, John Johnston
