Hi, I am currently searching very slowly through Scotlands People for my William BLACK, and I was wondering whether anyone could help me narrow down the search a little. William BLACK b ~1884 (Glasgow, but possibly Edinburgh). Mother is Marion PIKE and he names his father as William BLACK, solicitor. In my search there is no marriage for these two, but there is an unmarried solicitor in Edinburgh who may fit the description. Could someone do a births lookup for my William Black around 1884, mother Marion, possibly illegitimate.
