Hi, another name Colinton or Hailes Sp have down for the birth of Alexander Gibson in 1738. Hope he is mine his parents were Thomas Gibson and wife Agnes Barton. Since Alexander Gibson and his wife Rabina Bogie 1st two children were Agnes then Thomas I am banking on this being his parents. This alexander was born Colinton or Hailes Midlothian.
