Hi, John and Jacquie are so right. I was looking for a marriage of Thomas Gibson and Ann Barton (as it said on his son Alexander's birth) but nothing would come up on LDS or SP. I ended up just putting in Thomas Gibson. And his marriage came up to Agnes Burton. So a very good example to try everything Cheers Marilyn

I had been looking for the death of my g.grandfather Alexander Boyd for years until I decided to just put in the surname in Argyll, hoping that there wouldn't be too many Boyd's and he came up but the person doing the indexing spelt his name Alejxander which is obviously a typing error, but I've now found him and I'm ecstatic about it.
