It is my understanding that tenant farm records are held at the Scottish Record Office. Can someone please explain what information they contain and how easy they are to use? In the 1770's my ancestor, John Dalrymple, farmed at Myrton in Mochrum parish, Wigtownshire, and supposedly was related to the Earl of Stair. Thank you. Christine Draisey
