Hi, Do you know John Alison's parents name? My John Alison was born 1814 in Duddingston, Midlothian and parents were John and Anna Alison. They appeared to have had 9 chn: Helen, Susan, Ann, Alexander, Catherine (my great great grandmother), Margaret, John and Benjamin. Does any of this fit with your info. No, I haven't gone further back with this part of my Wilson line, my uncle was John Alison WILSON he married my father's sister who was his first cousin.
