James and Mary must have had some siblings, so if you could please try and find any DUNCAN, or SINCLAIR marriages would be wonderful! Week of 7 Sept, 1846 James Duncan, Shoemaker, Residing in #6 Spring Gardens, Stockbridge in this Parish and Mary Sinclair, residing in #8 Princes Street in the Parish of St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Daughter of the late John Sinclair, Sawyer in Edinburgh, have been Three several Times duly and regularly Proclaimed in the Parish Church of St. Cuthbert's in order to Marriage and no objections offered.....Married [no further information on date, church or minister though room was left for the entry].
