MegG in OK Week of 28 Aug, 1848 James ROGER, Shoemaker, Residing in #4 East St. James's Street, and Jean NORRIS, residing in #23 South St. James's Street, both in this Parish, Daughter of George NORRIS, Shoemaker there, have been 3 Times several duly and regularly proclaimed in the Parish Church of St. Cuthbert's in order to Marriage, and no objections offered....Married on the 1st day of Sept thereafter by the Rev'd Andrew MILROY, Minister of the Free Church Tran[?] Church, Edinburgh [Meg- I cannot read the word looking like Tran. That's what it looks like...] Daniel SUTHERLAND, Baker, Residing in #9 Crichton Street and Isabella TAYLOR also residing in the same place, both in this Parish, Daughter of the late John TAYLOR, Porter in Leith, have been 3 Times several duly and regularly proclaimed in the Parish Church of St. Cuthbert's in order to Marriage, and no objections offered....Married on this Day by the Rev'd Dr. John PAUL, one of the Ministers of this Parish.
