If anyone still has not received a St. Cuthbert's OPR entry [marriages only , 1842-1849] from me that you requested earlier, please write to me and remind me what I was supposed to get. We are adding onto our house and I've lost track of a few papers I'd printed out as requests. If you have no idea what I'm rattling about, the FHC near my home has a filmed version of the St. Cuthbert's Marriages from 1842-1849 [I ordered it]. Use the IGI either in its regular format or Hugh Wallis's batch search to get the names. I think Hugh Wallis's site has a problem at this time, it should be up and running once its fixed. No idea how long that will be. I've found an INDEX on the film, but its for male names only. Have also found by using this film that it only goes up to August, 1849 meaning the rest of the year is not in the film. The rest of the year is in the next film....1066767. This film is 1066766. I needed a marriage in this film, and was amazed at the amount of information for each party, the bride and the groom. The bride's father is also named, and his occupation is given. These are great OPRs ! Only a few weeks left for this film to be here, I think 3 more weeks, so I'll be advertising lookups until it has to go back. I need a NAME or NAMES and a DATE if you have one.
