I have a mystery Sam BOSTOCK in my tree. He was married to my gt grandmothers sister, Elizabeth WESTON at St Marys Kirkdale (Liverpool) in 1878 and in the 1881 census gives his POB as Scotland, age 27 (ie born around 1854). He was a boiler maker. According to family stories he also won over another WESTON sister with his charms, leading to the birth of a baby girl. In a further story, he is supposed to have died on the Lusitania, but there is no record of that. It seem more likely he died on the Franconia a bit later. Or in his bed. I have nothing on him record- wise beyond his marriage and the 1881 census entry.
