has anyone had success researching police ancestors in Edinburgh? (I will rejoin the police list too I promise) I have just discovered that my great great grandfather Duncan MACRAE served for 3 or 4 years with Edinburgh police, probably 1830s or late 20s. Judy Copywriter@tesco.net
