There seems to be some Robertson interest of late. Do any of you Robertson-interested people have a D. Robertson, who would have been born between 1845-75. and been somewhat well-off. This name appears on a clock face of a fine tall case clock made in Edinburgh between 1795-1815. We're on a bit of a goose chase at this point, but hope to collect possiblities and find other evidence to determine the best possible candidates. He may have emigrated to the US>NJ, because the clock ends up there eventually.
