Hi List, I am trying to find out information on my g.grandfather. unfort. i have very little to go on as my g.grandmother and g.grandfather were not married. his name was james MCKAY birth prob. late 1890's was a painter by trade (house painter) and in 1925 was living at 53 india place edinburgh. on the 23/12/1925 at the shreriff's court of lothian & peebles was involved in a paternity suit regarding my grandmother. can anyone assist or point me in the direction that i should take. my g. grandmothers name was annie richmond SHAW. regards, margaret shaw.
