List - If you get a file from anyone and you didn't request it, check the return addy - if it is preceeded by an 'underscore', a small line in front of the address, it is Extremely suspect - this prevents you from actually asking the person if they sent you the file. Your query will be returned as 'undeliverable'. If your mail software underlines eMail addresses, this will be masked. Uncover it by hitting Reply and looking at the address generated, but I wouldn't even grace the item with having it this long in my inbox. Delete it permanently, meaning check your Trash file, or any holding file, and delete it from there also. If someone has really sent you a legitimate file in this manner, they will re-contact you and should apologize for sending a file without notifying you. Have also seen this problem blossoming in the past 4 days on other Lists. Deleted about 5 of these so far. They are not from Rootsweb, but from the personal mailboxes of Listers who have opened the files and become unwitting carriers. Meg / Oklahoma, USA
