Judy, Once again my grateful thanks for your kind assistance, and my apologies for my shameless demands on your good nature. I have had a look at the GRO site. The only thing I found crystal clear was how to pay. I jest, I think I can cope. The trouble is that not only am I a lousy genealogist, but I'm not too hot on computers either. I will give it a try, probably next week-end during the cheap rate telephone calls period so as to give myself plenty of time. I will let you know how I get on.
