I recently borrowed an old photograph of my gr gr grandfather (Michael Connaboy) sitting in front of Old Pentland House with a man standing next to him. On the back of the photo it says, in part: "This gentle-man standing next to father is Mr. J.D. Crawford, M.A. he teaches pupils for Edinburgh University and he is a very nice old gentleman and he is very fond of Father." My intention is to scan this photo for my genealogy.
