Hi, I'm new to this list and I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a William McIntosh who married Jean/Jane McPherson in Edinburgh in 1834. I know they had 2 children one of them being my great great grandad Archibald who was born in 1835. And a daughter called Jessie or maybe Janet she would have been born around 1837. I know that both William and Jean/Jane were deceased by 1883 and that Archibald and Jessie/Janet were both living in Perth in 1881 as they are on the census. Archibald was my great great grandad. I don't suppose there are any kind souls out there who have access to the 1841 or the 1851 census and could do a look up for me please? I would like to find out if there were any other children in the family. I know that Archibald and Jessie/Janet were born in St Cuthberts, Midlothian, Maybe they stayed in the same area and had more children? The only other thing I know is that William's occupation was Police constable. If anyone can help me I would ever so grateful or if anyone has any of these people in their family trees, please get in touch, Thank you in advance for any help, Julie
