On the subject of certificates. I find that part of the fascination of Genealogy, is finding originals, or be it copies of originals. I have had an original (copy) and a translated typed copy of an original. The translated copy missed out a small detail from the original and by my seeing this, it solved a mystery to a birth (it turned out that there had been a twin as suspected) but no hint was given in the typed copy but the original had stated "1st born" in very small writing. The "2nd twin" had died shortly after birth. Regards Rena McKenzie
