    3. For those interested in these locations I now have some pics. havent looked at them yet so they may not be all that brilliant and the camera is very basic - but it serves its purpose. As I thought there is not much left of Jamaica St (very near by) . I remember there being a gap site there years ago and now flats are built across the end of the short section of the street that remains. Anyone know any more? Is there something on the other side? Street numbers were 2 or 3, no sign of any higher numbers - I think the lister was interested in 60 someting. St Stephens is at the foot of St Vincent st and my pic should have the St Vincent St episcopalian chapel in the corner. St Stephens is a very fine Playfair building dated 1827 but I was horrified to find that the present church is just the former gallery. The congregation in their wisdom put in an extra floor converting the ground floor of the church into a church hall type affair with side rooms. Absolutely horrible and they spent at least 27 thousand quid at pre war prices. Judy >
