Hello list I wonder if anyone can fill in the details about Jamaica Street. I have just sent a lister a pic of the bit that remains on the eastern side (next to Howe St), but I recall there is a bit remaining on the western side, leading on to India Street. In the seventies there was a huge gap site in the middle, as i remember, but on the Alan Godfrey map you can see a typical New Town pattern of a long street with lanes to the north and south. What happened? Judy
